A shooting in New York City’s Times Square resulted in injuries to three individuals, including a woman who sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. The incident, involving a teenager, occurred near the intersection of 44th Street and 7th Avenue around 1:20 a.m. local time. The gunfire triggered a stampede as people gathered outside the nearby Hard Rock Cafe reacted in panic. An 18-year-old woman was shot in the neck, while two men, aged 19 and 65, suffered leg injuries. All the injured were taken to Bellevue Hospital, and their condition is reported as stable. The suspect was apprehended at the scene, and a firearm was recovered. Due to the suspect’s age, their identity has not been released, and charges are pending. This event follows a recent shooting in a Manhattan skyscraper where a gunman with an AR-15-style rifle killed four people before taking his own life.
