President Donald Trump has successfully mediated an end to the 37-year-long conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He engaged in intensive efforts over several days to achieve this outcome. At the White House, Trump hosted a meeting with leaders from both nations. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an official peace agreement at the White House. Trump has previously claimed to have stopped six other conflicts around the world. Before assuming office, Trump had stated his intention to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but he has yet to achieve that goal. However, he has now facilitated the cessation of hostilities between Armenia and Azerbaijan, a region that has witnessed decades of struggle.
