Following the US Congress’s approval of the Republican’s “One Big Beautiful Bill,” former President Donald Trump expressed his enthusiasm for the legislative achievement. He announced a bill signing event at the White House. Trump noted the near-unanimous support from Republican representatives, leading to a final vote of 218-214. He declared that the House of Representatives had successfully passed the “ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT.”
Trump invited all members of Congress and Senators to join the celebration at the White House the following day. He stated that they would celebrate the nation’s independence and the beginning of a new ‘Golden Age.’
On Truth Social, Trump wrote that the people of the United States of America would be ‘Richer, Safer, and Prouder than ever before.’ The bill, which includes tax cuts and increased funding for the Pentagon and border security, will be signed into law. The signing ceremony is planned for Friday evening. The bill passed the Senate on Tuesday with a 51-50 vote, with Vice-President JD Vance casting the tie-breaking vote.
