Trump suggested that there had been considerable progress on multiple fronts, which is ongoing. He mentioned a recent productive meeting with the Russian President and expressed a belief that some resolution might arise from the meeting. He also highlighted the importance of the current meeting, attended by seven powerful European leaders, which would follow immediately after their discussions.
