Former US President Donald Trump has criticized Elon Musk’s recent announcement of the ‘America Party’, labeling the move as ‘ridiculous’. Trump, who has been at odds with Musk, dismissed the idea of a third party, asserting that they have historically failed in the United States. He stated that the Republican Party has seen tremendous success, and that a two-party system is the norm.
Responding to the situation, Trump expressed his belief that third parties primarily create disruption and confusion, a sentiment he feels the Democrats are already contributing to. He also mentioned that the new party’s formation comes as a result of the EV Mandate being terminated by the Republican party. Trump added that he had informed Musk of his intention to end the EV Mandate, to which Musk responded with no objections.
