A recent visit to Washington, D.C., by former US President Donald Trump has sparked renewed interest, not for his political statements, but for a cosmetic detail. Photos shared on social media show a noticeable patch of what appears to be lighter-toned foundation on his right hand. The images from the event at the People’s House museum have led to public health concerns about the 79-year-old. The makeup was also visible later in the day during a speech in the Oval Office. Some observers noted Trump’s attempt to conceal the hand during the speech. This situation follows previous instances where similar makeup was observed, including meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. A White House physician, Captain Sean Barbabella, previously attributed minor bruising on the hand to frequent handshaking and aspirin use.
