Fresh violence erupted along the Israel-Lebanon border after Israeli jets bombed Hezbollah strongholds in southern Lebanon, leaving two civilians dead and one injured. The National News Agency said the deadliest strike hit the Der Ames area, where rescue teams later extracted 29 people from rubble. The attacks came hours after Israeli troops warned residents of several villages to leave immediately. Hezbollah said its fighters hit an Israeli tank with a drone and engaged soldiers in direct combat near Jowatar al-Sharqiya, forcing the Israeli troops to retreat before artillery fire rained down on the area. The group also claimed rocket attacks on military positions in Talat al-Khazzan. Separate airstrikes flattened a structure near the coastal city of Tyre and hit the Rashidieh refugee camp. Lebanon’s Health Ministry updated its casualty figures, confirming 3,269 killed and 9,840 wounded since early March. Meanwhile, seven more Palestinians died in an Israeli strike on a home in central Gaza City, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society.
