In the aftermath of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s murder, suspect Tylor Robinson has confessed to his involvement, with text messages exchanged with his trans partner emerging as key evidence. The messages, now widely circulated, detail Robinson’s motive for the crime. Court documents confirm the 22-year-old suspect admitted to being the shooter in conversations with his romantic partner. Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University. Robinson was apprehended a day later and has since been charged with murder. Robinson’s texts to his partner revealed his animosity towards Kirk, stating he had “enough of his hatred.” The messages also detailed his attempts to retrieve a rifle, expressing concern over potential evidence and his father’s reaction. Robinson ultimately decided to surrender himself, informing his partner to avoid media contact and seek legal counsel.
