The United States is currently reviewing the visas of over 55 million foreign nationals residing within its borders. The U.S. Department of State has initiated this process to identify and revoke the visas of those found to be in violation of immigration laws. This review is part of an ongoing effort to ensure compliance with U.S. immigration regulations.
According to the Department, all U.S. visa holders are subject to continuous scrutiny. If violations are discovered, the affected individuals risk having their visas revoked and being deported to their home countries.
Visa holders may be deemed ineligible for various reasons, including overstaying their permitted time in the U.S., posing a threat to public safety, involvement in criminal or terrorist activities, or providing support to terrorist organizations.
