A disturbing video has emerged online showing an Indian student being handcuffed and pinned to the ground by US authorities at Newark Liberty International Airport. The footage depicts the student held down by multiple officials, with their knees on his back. The student’s hands and legs were bound, and he was subsequently deported. The video, originally shared on social media by Indian-American entrepreneur Kunal Jain, has sparked widespread outrage. Jain described witnessing the incident and expressed his heartbreak, tagging the Indian Embassy. The embassy responded, stating they were in contact with local authorities and committed to assisting Indian nationals. According to witness accounts, the student was yelling, “I am not crazy,” while being restrained. The witness, Kunal Jain, also stated that he was prevented from assisting the student by the authorities.
