Washington lauds New Delhi’s steps to curb drug trafficking

New Delhi, September 16 – President Donald Trump commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the decisive actions taken by India to fight narcotics smuggling. The U.S. envoy to India, Sergio Gor, mentioned that the president published a global report on illicit drug threats and singled out India’s achievements. The president asserted that collaborative efforts will continue to strengthen border security, limit drug seizures, and lower overdose deaths.
