WHO Sends Medical Supplies as Nepal Battles Bhote Koshi Flood Aftermath

The World Health Organization announced that it will provide essential medicines and health equipment for up to 1,000 flood‑affected individuals. After talks with Health and Food Hygiene Minister Nisha Mehta, the WHO confirmed the shipment of basic drugs, medical kits and sanitation supplies to assist the ongoing relief effort. The health ministry has also mobilised additional staff to support emergency health services across Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
