Zelensky Signals Preparedness for Serious Peace Actions with US Team

Volodymyr Zelensky, the head of state of Ukraine, told followers on X that an agreement has been reached to meet President Donald Trump in New York. He framed the encounter as a pivotal step that could alter the diplomatic landscape.

According to Zelensky, Kyiv is prepared to join forces with the U.S. delegation to undertake “serious steps” aimed at ending the conflict. While no date was set, the atmosphere of cooperation was described as conducive to progress.

The conversation is expected to touch upon lowering tensions, reinforcing energy and food security, and protecting the lives of ordinary citizens. Zelensky made it clear that establishing peace is the highest priority for his government.
