Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr Shivkumar Dahria reached Balrampur and Ambikapur on Wednesday to know the ground reality of schemes and works before Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s district visit. Dr. Shivkumar Dahria inspected the mobile medical unit under Mukhyamantri Slum Health Scheme, asphalt road under construction in ward no. 14, district hospital, Shri Dhanwantri Medical Store and Prime Minister’s residence and district office at the new bus stand of District Headquarter Balrampur. Minister-in-charge Dr. Shivkumar Dahria had reached today to take stock of the preparations for the proposed assembly-wise visit of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria inspected the mobile medical unit under the Chief Minister’s Slum Health Scheme at the new bus stand at the district headquarters and got his blood pressure checked up. He directed the concerned officer to take benefit of this scheme to maximum number of people. He gave instructions to Chief Municipal Officer Balrampur to get allotment of shops constructed in the new bus stand soon. Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria reached the district hospital and inquired about the facilities being provided in the hospital from the patients and their families. During this, the minister in-charge inspected the dialysis unit operating in the district hospital and the Hummer lab under construction. Shri Dahria instructed to start the Hummer Lab Unit at the earliest. Inspected the Shri Dhanwantri Clinic operating in the hospital premises and inquired about the discounts given in medicines from the beneficiaries who came to buy medicines. Taking information about the availability of medicines from the operator of Mr. Dhanwantri Medical, he instructed to keep all the necessary medicines. Instructions were given to check the quality of the said road. He visited the newly constructed house of Ishwar Minj in ward number 05 under Urban Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. He took information from the beneficiary regarding the payment of the amount of the house. After that, the Minister in-charge reached the Janpad Panchayat office, took information from the employees posted in the office regarding the payment of pension amount under the Social Security Pension Scheme and instructed to pay the pension amount to the beneficiaries on time. During this, Ramanujganj MLA Mr. Brihaspat Singh, Managing Director NRHM and Director Urban Administration and Development Dr. Priyanka Shukla, Director of Public Relations Department Mr. Saumil Choubey, Collector Mr. Kundan Kumar, Superintendent of Police Mr. Ramkrishna Sahu, Forest Divisional Officer Mr. Vivekanand Jha and seniors of various departments. Officers were present. After Balrampur, Dr. Dahria reached Ambikapur. There he inspected the mobile medical unit set up in Subhashnagar of Gandhinagar area and the ongoing BT road construction in Balgangadhar Tilak ward. He himself checked the thickness of BT Road under construction and instructed the officials for quality work. Dahria said that about Rs 7.5 crore has been approved for construction of road in Ambikapur Municipal Corporation area. He instructed to complete all the work before the rainy season. During the inspection of MMU, Dr. Dahria inquired about the facilities available in MMU and the number of patients treated today. At present, there are 4 MMUs operating in Ambikapur corporation area, which are being treated free of cost by organizing camps in the localities from 8 am to 5 pm.
