In the Kharif marketing year 2022-23, the state government will start buying paddy from farmers on support price from November 1. Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Choudhary directed all the officers and employees of the district to discharge their responsibilities in important campaigns like buying paddy in the weekly deadline meeting today. According to the instructions given by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the collector’s conference on October 8 and 9, he said that farmers should not face any kind of inconvenience during the purchase of paddy. Along with this, there should not be any arrival of paddy from outside the state, for this, instructions have been given to keep a special check and vigil in the border areas and keep a watch on the middlemen. The collector appointed the nodal officers appointed for the paddy procurement system, before the start of the procurement, cleanliness, electricity, drinking water, generator, computer, fork-distribution, gunny bags, hamal, tarpaulin, protection and storage of paddy etc. In order to increase the income of the farmers, the Collector instructed them to increase the area of other Rabi crops, including wheat, along with motivating them to close the gates of irrigation reservoirs and fill adequate water. He directed to start production by January, expediting the work of Mahatma Gandhi Ruler Industrial Park (RIPA) being set up in six identified Gauthans of the district- Dhanauli, Patrakoni, Sonbacharwar, Bariumrao, Dongria and Bansital. He instructed to increase the quantity of cow dung purchase in all Gauthans under Godhan Nyay Yojana, make vermicompost and timely payment of self-help groups, garden development and tree plantation in Gauthan areas. . He directed the officers to be present with full preparation within the weekly time limit along with sending their proposal to the government related to public demands which are outside the jurisdiction of the district level. He directed all the departments including Women and Child Development, Education, Health, Tribal Development Department to compulsorily purchase materials for official use from C-Mart. During the review of the resolution of cases related to public problems, he directed the concerned officers to resolve the quality boundary wall construction, removal of illegal encroachments, aid money, compound construction, school building, social building, compensation, investigation of the works of Janjeevan Mission by third party etc. gave instructions.
