Ravi Goyal, Sakti. The district administration has taken major action in the illegal plotting case. Halka Patwari Kunjan Ram Devangan has been suspended. The Patwari was found guilty in the illegal plotting in Sakti’s village Nandaurkhurd. After which the SDM has taken this action on the instructions of the Collector. Let us tell you that just two days ago, action was taken to impose a fine on the land owner and Patwari Kunjan Ram.
According to the order issued, Kunjan Ram Devangan Patwari working under Tehsil Sakti has been suspended with immediate effect under Rule 9 (1) of Chhattisgarh Civil Services Classification Control and Appeal Rules 1966 for not providing information regarding illegal plotting in village Nandaurkhurd. During the period of suspension, his headquarters will be Tehsil Office Sakti and he will be paid subsistence allowance as per rules.
