Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has paid homage to Thakur Pyarelal Singh, the architect of labor movement in Chhattisgarh and the leader of cooperative movement, on his death anniversary on October 20. Recalling the contribution of Thakur Pyarelal Singh, Mr. Baghel has said that he has been instrumental in public awareness during the freedom struggle. He organized the students and motivated them to participate in the national movement. He was also active in opposing exploitation and tyranny. He fought for the mill workers of Rajnandgaon and got their rights. Under his leadership, the weavers of Chhattisgarh were organized and the Chhattisgarh Weavers Association was established.
