Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and congratulated the participating players including the medal winners of Chhattisgarh in Khelo India Youth Games. The state of Chhattisgarh dominated this national stage of sports. In this, the players of Chhattisgarh displayed their excellent sports talent and won a total of 11 medals including 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 6 bronze medals. It is worth mentioning that 122 players from Chhattisgarh state participated in the Khelo India Youth Games organized in Panchkula, Haryana. Chief Minister Shri Baghel expressed his happiness over the achievements of the players of Chhattisgarh in Khelo India Youth Games and appreciated it. He said that this has made our Chhattisgarh state proud at the national level. He said that every possible initiative is being taken by the State Government to realize the vision of “Khelbo……Jitbo……….Gadbo….Nawa Chhattisgarh”. So that every talented player who raises the honor of the state should not face any problem and they can perform their talent best. Chhattisgarh got the first gold medal in weightlifting in Khelo India Youth Games. In this, Dnyaneshwari Yadav has won the gold medal by lifting 164 kg, breaking his old record. Raja Bharti of Chhattisgarh won the bronze medal in this event by lifting a total of 211 kg. Similarly Sarita Poyam got 1 more gold medal in Malkhamb. In Malkhamb itself, Sarita Poyam got one bronze medal, Monu Netam got two silver medals, the girls’ team got one bronze and the boys’ team got one bronze. Apart from this Ranveer won 1 silver medal (individual) in Gatka and 1 bronze medal by Gatka Dal of Chhattisgarh State and Sadhika Dubey won 1 bronze medal in Kalaripayatu.
