Better implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is being done in Janjgir-Champa district under the guidance of Collector Mr. Taran Prakash Sinha. A total amount of Rs 11211.79 lakhs will be distributed to the beneficiaries of all the bodies of Janjgir-Champa district for the first, second, third and fourth installment houses from 2016-17 to 2022-23 under the Prime Minister’s Housing (Urban) Mor Zameen Mor Makan Yojana. transferred to the account. Due to which 5 thousand 664 housing beneficiaries are getting benefit. The houses are being completed by the beneficiaries in a phased manner as soon as possible. Collector Mr. Sinha, after receiving the funds from the government, has instructed all the concerned officers to do the construction works of the Prime Minister’s house in a quality and speedy manner on a priority basis, so that the dream of housing of the eligible beneficiaries can be realized fast. The process of allocation of funds to the beneficiaries of housing in the district is also being done continuously. As the beneficiaries go on constructing their houses in a phased manner, the payment of amount to the beneficiaries will be transferred to their accounts. It is noteworthy that an amount of Rs 1717.90 lakh has been transferred from the state nodal account for the houses of the first installment, second installment and third installment from the years 2016-17 to 2019-20 to the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) in the district. According to the instructions of the state government, for the bodies under the housing scheme in the district from the year 2016-17 to 2022-23, the first installment for 521 beneficiaries at the foundation level is Rs 294.63 lakh, the second installment for the little level is Rs 728.82 lakh for 537 beneficiaries, The third installment for roof level amounting to Rs.1493.22 lakh has been released to 762 beneficiaries and the fourth installment for complete level amounting to Rs.8695.13 lakh to 3844 beneficiaries. It is worth mentioning that there is a provision of Rs 2.21 lakh to Rs 2.29 lakh per house for Prime Minister’s residence (urban). Collector Mr. Taran Prakash Sinha has given instructions to start the approved non-commissioned houses in the district before March 31, 2021 at the earliest. According to the information received from the Chief Municipal Officer, Janjgir-Naila, Mr. Chandan Sharma, funds have been released for all the urban bodies under the Janjgir-Champa district, under the Peacock Land, Peacock House Scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). In which Municipal Council Janjgir-Naila first installment (Foundation Level) for 49 beneficiaries, second installment (Lintal Level) for 44 beneficiaries, third installment (Roof Level) for 112 beneficiaries and fourth installment (Complete Level) for 713 beneficiaries. Out of this a total amount of Rs 1919.71 lakh has been released. A total amount of Rs 1607.74 lakh has been released to the first installment (Foundation Level) 32, second installment (Lintal Level) 37, third installment (Roof Level) 108 and fourth installment (Complete Level) 587 beneficiaries in Municipal Council Akaltara. A total amount of Rs 1061.05 lakh has been released to the first installment (Foundation Level) 10, second installment (Lintal Level) 40, third installment (Roof Level) 63 and fourth installment (Complete Level) 388 beneficiaries in Municipal Council Champa. A total amount of Rs 841.84 lakh has been released to Nagar Panchayat Nagar Panchayat Nagar Panchayat Navagarh for first installment (Foundation Level) 21, second installment (Lintal Level) 31, third installment (Roof Level) 50 and fourth installment (Complete Level) 305 beneficiaries. In Nagar Panchayat Baloda, first installment (Foundation Level) 313, second installment (Lintal Level) 246, third installment (Roof Level) 174 and fourth installment (Complete Level) 587 beneficiaries, a total amount of Rs 2179.64 lakh has been released. A total amount of Rs 692.88 lakh has been released for first installment (Foundation Level) 3, second installment (Lintal Level) 30, third installment (Roof Level) 108 and fourth installment (Complete Level) 194 beneficiaries in Nagar Panchayat Kharod. A total amount of Rs 596.66 lakh has been released for first installment (Foundation Level) 5, second installment (Lintal Level) 21, third installment (Roof Level) 23 and fourth installment (Complete Level) 230 beneficiaries in Nagar Panchayat Rahoud. In Nagar Panchayat Saragaon, first installment (Foundation Level) 78, second installment (Lintal Level) 77, third installment (Roof Level) 65 and fourth installment (Complete Level) 565 beneficiaries have been issued a total amount of Rs 1554.02 lakh. In Nagar Panchayat Shivrinarayan, first installment (Foundation Level) 10, second installment (Lintal Level) 11, third installment (Roof Level) 59. and fourth installment (Complete Level) total amount of Rs 758.25 lakh has been released to 275 beneficiaries. A total of 8 thousand 6 hundred 22 houses have been approved in 9 urban bodies of Janjgir-Champa district.
