Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, in a review meeting organized under the meet-and-greet program at Gundardehi in Balod district today, encouraged the officers to use their potential in the works of administration and for the public good. This message must go to the general public that the government is doing a better job with sensitivity. The implementation of the plans should always be visible at the ground level. Divisional and district level officers including Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Ankit Anand were present on this occasion. Before the meeting, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development works costing Rs. 190 crore. This includes bhoomi pujan of works worth about Rs 122 crore and inauguration of works worth Rs 68 crore. The Chief Minister told the officers that land is being allotted by the government to social organizations at ten percent of the collector’s fixed rate. Give maximum publicity to this scheme. The demand for their building can be approved only after the land is allotted to social organizations. The Chief Minister directed all the officers present to cooperate with the eligible beneficiaries in the implementation of the schemes. All the officers should reside in the headquarters only, so that there is ease in the work of the general public. The Chief Minister said that the improvement in the level of education is relatively less, this situation is not good. Students should get proper benefit of all available resources. For this, regular inspection of all schools and colleges should be done. The Chief Minister asked the officials of the Electricity Department to take prompt action on complaints related to electricity and resolve them. Send the proposal for uninterrupted power supply to your senior office. While directing the officers of the Police and Excise Department, the Chief Minister said to keep a constant vigil on illegal transportation, collection and sale of liquor.
