According to the information received from the Public Health Engineering Division, Jashpur, for not starting and completing the work allotted under Jal Jeevan Mission in the financial year 2021-22 and 2022-23, even after repeatedly informing the concerned contractors for not completing the work. A meeting of Jal Jeevan Mission was held on 19 December 2023. After this, the contracts of 3 contractors have been cancelled.
In these, the work has not been started by M/s Anjani Kumar Singh, the contractor of Bagicha Development Block, for the last 3 years. Similarly, Farsabahar’s contractor M/s Uday Construction has not started the work for 2 years and Kansabel’s contractor M/s Agile Works Pvt. Ltd. The work has also not been started for 1 year and 1 month.
