Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. Once again a case of murder has come to light in Civil Line area. The boyfriend killed his girlfriend who was living in a live-in relationship. Both were living in a live-in relationship for the last five years. Last night there was a dispute between the two about taking out food. In the scuffle, the girlfriend got hurt and died. Civil Line Police has arrested the accused boyfriend.
According to the information, Nidhi Kewat, originally a resident of Juna Bilaspur Pachri Ghat, and Shatrughan Patel of Mangala were in a love relationship. Both were living in Shatrughan’s house in Yadav Mohalla of Mangala for the last 5 years. The deceased and her lover both ran a snack center. Last night, Shatrughan had a dispute with Nidhi regarding taking out food. There was a scuffle between the two, in which Nidhi got seriously injured when her head hit the door and she died.
After the incident, accused Shatrughan fled from the spot. After receiving information about the incident, Civil Line police reached the spot and detained the accused youth from Takhatpur. The police have registered a case of murder and are taking further action.
