The people of fair price shops should not face any problem in lifting the ration. It should be ensured that people get ration easily. In the meeting, Mr. Bhagat said that the priority of the state government is that no person should go to bed hungry, so the last person at the last end of the state. Officers should give serious attention to all these complaints. It is noteworthy that at present, about 69 lakh ration cards are in circulation in the state and out of more than 13 thousand government fair price shops, e-pass machines have been installed in 12 thousand 312 shops. Food Minister Shri Bhagat said in the meeting that such persons who have ration card in their name but are unable to come to the fair price shop to get ration such as handicapped persons, elderly, children below 10 years of age, persons suffering from serious incurable diseases etc. Ration should be made available after making an effective plan. The officials said that on the written application of the disabled and such members whose age is more than 60 years or less than 10 years, food grains are being distributed at the district level itself by appointing a nominee attached to the same fair price shop and any other beneficiary proposed by him. Is. More than 39 thousand nominees have been appointed at the district level and 5,439 nominees have been appointed at the state level. For leprosy patients, or ration card holders suffering from serious illness, food grains are being distributed by appointing Mitanin or Anganwadi worker as Trusted Person. He said that the list of nominee and trusted person should be released as soon as possible after the application test so that ration can be easily available to the people. In the meeting, Shri Bhagat also directed to make fresh allotment of new gram panchayats and fair price shops having more than 500 ration cards under rationalization according to card numbers. In the meeting, he reviewed the works of Custom Milling, Civil Supplies Corporation, Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation and gave necessary directions.
