The lockdown has been extended till June 5 in view of the increasing corona infection in the district. District Collector Bhim Singh has issued an order in this regard. However, private construction works have been conditionally permitted in view of the labor troubles.
At the same time, hotel restaurants will continue with home delivery as well as low and go facilities. Not only this, agricultural shops, medical stores, petrol pumps will operate till 8 pm as before.
At the same time, shops of building materials will also be opened in view of rain. The sale of vegetables and fruits can be done door to door in the wards. District Collector Bhim Singh has said that the positive rate in the district has still not come down. The positive rate has been seen above 5% for the last three to four days. A decision has been taken in this regard as directed by the state government. The collector has said that the lockdown can be opened if the positivity rate falls below 5 percent.
