Under the chairmanship of Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere with the agitating farmer representatives to consider the demands of the new capital project affected farmers welfare committee. In the meeting, Forest and Housing and Environment Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Urban Administration Minister and Arang MLA Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, MLA Abhanpur Mr. Dhanendra Sahu and Additional Chief Secretary, Mr. Subrata Sahu and Nava Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Senior officers including Ayyaz Tamboli, Collector of Raipur district, Saurabh Kumar were present. Today, the officers of the agitating Farmers Welfare Committee attended this important meeting held at the residence office of Agriculture Minister Mr. Choubey located in Shankar Nagar of the capital. The office bearers of the New Capital Project Affected Farmers Welfare Committee include Chairman, Farmers Welfare Committee Mr. Rupan Chandrakar, Executive Chairman Mr. Lalit Yadav, Secretary Mr. Kamta Ratre, Principal Advisor Mr. Pramod Agrawal, Patron Mr. Anand Ram Sahu, Spokesperson Mr. Girdhar Patel, Treasurer Mr. Pulesh Barle. In the meeting of the committee constituted as per the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the new capital project affected farmers welfare committee was apprised about its demands in detail, on which the committee discussed their demands in a cordial atmosphere in a cordial manner. During this discussion, an important decision was taken to conduct early survey in the presence of District Collector, member of Farmers Welfare Committee and Sarpanch of concerned Gram Panchayat regarding allotment of Patta according to eligibility for settlement of affected people in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. During the discussion, consent was given by the farmers for the arrangement of allotment of shops being built there in Nava Raipur to the affected farmers through lottery system as per rules. Similarly, the issue of settlement error was brought to light during point-wise discussion. Taking a positive initiative, it was decided to conduct the test on their demand in the meeting. Responding after the meeting held in a cordial atmosphere, the project affected farmers of the new capital thanked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and the ministers for inviting them by the government. The members of the delegation said that the state government took notice of us and there was a positive discussion on all the points.
