Raipur. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming on a one-day visit to Chhattisgarh. Amit Shah will reach the capital Raipur on January 21 at 2 pm. During this time he will participate in the programs organized in the Assembly. Shah will remain in Vis campus till 6 pm. After that will leave for Delhi at 6:25.

Apart from the orientation program to be held in the Assembly for new MLAs, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a review meeting on ‘Left Wing Extremism (LWE)’. This meeting will be held in the committee room of the assembly. The meeting will also be attended by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, State Home Minister Vijay Sharma, Union Home Secretary, top officers of the Central Armed Police Forces and many senior officials of the Central and State Governments.
The objective of the meeting is to fulfill the government’s commitment for the development of Naxal-affected areas of the state and deal with the menace of left-wing extremism. Road construction, telecom connectivity, financial inclusion and opening of residential schools are included.
