Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia has said that Yoga is the basis of a healthy and healthy lifestyle. Yoga keeps us connected with nature. Yoga infuses positive energy along with physical strength in us. He said that Yoga played a positive role in removing the physical and mental problems faced by the people during the time of Corona pandemic. Mr. Bhendia was addressing a yoga conference and honor program organized by the Yoga Commission at Lakhiram Auditorium in Bilaspur on Monday. Chairman of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Mr. Gyanesh Sharma, Mayor Mr. Ramsharan Yadav, Chairman of Municipal Corporation Mr. Sheikh Nazruddin, President of Chhattisgarh State Co-operative Housing Association Mr. Ashok Agrawal, President of District Co-operative Central Bank Mr. Pramod Nayak, former MLA of Bilha Mr. Siyaram Kaushik, Former Mayor Smt. Vani Rao, Former Mayor Shri Rajesh Pandey, Member of Yoga Commission Shri Ravinder Singh, Bilaspur IG Shri Ratanlal Dangi were specially present. Mrs. Bhediya said that the importance of yoga increases even more in managing the decreasing physical immunity, stressful, hectic lifestyle. There is a need for awareness of Yoga among all the people of the society. So that we can become cooperative in building a healthy society, state and country. He appealed to all the people of the state to compulsorily include yoga in their daily routine to keep the body and mind healthy. c.g. Commission Chairman Shri Gyanesh Sharma said that Yoga Commission is continuously working towards making people aware of Yoga. He highlighted the efforts being made by the Yoga Commission. Mayor Shri Ramsharan Yadav said that Yoga should be included as a subject in the school curriculum. In the program, Minister Smt. Bhediya presented Yoga Institutes, Brahma Kumaris, Art of Living, Patanjali, Gayatri Sansthan and Shuddha Yoga Centers, for Yoga in Universities. Head of the department and professors, yoga instructors including Yogacharyas were honored by giving citation and insignia. During this, school children and yoga instructors performed various yoga postures. A large number of dignitaries, including member of State Child Protection Commission, Mrs. Pooja Khanuja, were present in the award ceremony.
