Air India did not follow the necessary rules and safety manuals related to oxygen in some flights of Boeing B777 aircraft. An Air India employee had complained about this to DGCA, after which this action has been taken.

DGCA said that initial investigation found the airline violating the rules, after which a show cause notice was issued to Air India. After this, an investigation was conducted by DGCA, in which the airlines were found not following the Aircraft Safety Regulation standards.
