Raipur News: The problem of heart disease has become widespread. Heart attack has become common among youth. From time to time it has become necessary to revise new treatments and guidelines. New technologies of valve replacement, leadless pacemakers, new medicines for heart failure treatment, congenital heart diseases, etc. are many such topics on which discussions and exchange of views took place.
Inspired by this, like every year, a two-day conference of Cardiology Society of India Chhattisgarh was organized on 10th and 11th February in a private hotel in Raipur. Cardiologists from the country and the state participated in it and expressed their views. In this, Professor Dr. Sanjay Tyagi, President of Cardiology Society of India, was invited from Delhi. Professor Dr. PC Manoria, former president and well-known senior doctor god father figure, was invited from Bhopal. Dr Vijaya Lakshmi, a professor of pediatric cardiology, has been invited from Bangalore, Dr DS Chadha, a renowned expert in complex angioplasty, has been invited from Bangalore.
In this, the current state president of CSI CG Dr. Dilip Ratnani, current secretary Dr. MP Samal, former president Dr. Javed Ali Khan, former secretary Dr. Smit Srivastava have a major role. Dr. Alok Rai is the Scientific Chairman. ECG workshop was conducted by Dr. Javed Parvez, Echo workshop was conducted by Dr. Nikhil Motiramani and Snehil Goswami in which students and doctors of the state understood these procedures closely. Cardiology update booklet was also released in this. State’s cardiologists Dr. Ashish Malhotra, Dr. K. Gurunath, Dr. Jairam Air, Dr. Sunil Gaunyal, Dr. KK Adile, Dr. Satish Suryavanshi, Dr. Manoj Gupta, Dr. Pranay Jain, Dr. Gaurav Tripathi etc. participated in it. The program was conducted by Dr. Alok Rai. Information about heart diseases was given by senior doctor Dr. PC Manoria and the main rule of 80 was explained in detail. Dr. Nageswara Rao, who came from Hyderabad, gave information on the process of closing various holes in the heart. Professor Dr. Nitish Naik of AIIMS New Delhi threw light on how to prevent atrial fibrillation.
In this program which lasted for two days, people from entire Chhattisgarh state and different places of India participated and discussed about better heart health of society and patients and prevention of diseases. Professor Sanjay Tyagi, President of National Society CSE, registered his presence in this program. There were also discussions about leadless pacemakers, new technology for valve replacement and treatment of heart failure.
