Gair-Ghumra dance is a traditional dance performed by the tribal Bhil-Meens in which both men and women participate. Although their circles are different. The circle inside the circle is a special feature of this dance. In its inner circle there are women while in the outer circle there are male dancers. The dance performed by the women in the inner circle is called “Ghoomra” while the dance performed by the men outside it is known as “Gair”. The dancers of both the circles, when the tempo of the instrument gets louder, change their stance and dance and reach each other’s circle.
