Chief Minister Mahtari Nyay Rath Yatra, which started in Chhattisgarh to make women aware of their rights and legal provisions, has reached the capital Raipur. On the initiative of Chhattisgarh State Commission for Women, this Nyay Rath Yatra has been started with the aim of making the women of the state aware about their constitutional rights and laws and to increase their confidence. In the first phase, the chariot will go to nine districts of the state. First of all, after visiting Durg district, this chariot has reached Raipur district. Commission’s Chairperson Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak informed that through the LED screen in Chief Minister Mahtari Nyay Rath, short films related to the activities of the Commission, constitutional and legal rights of women, various schemes of governance and empowerment of women are being shown, in which sexual harassment is being done. Movies related to , Domestic Violence, POCSO Act are also included. These films will show the right path to protest against violence against themselves along with making women and girls aware. He said that along with the Rath, advocates and officers of the Commission are also accompanying them, so that the aggrieved women would be able to get their grievances and queries resolved immediately.
