The students of Eklavya Adarsh Residential School, Taregaon Jungle, District Kabirdham have performed excellently in the state level sports, cultural and intellectual competition organized in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Students of residential school, who won medals in different categories of competitions, met State Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar at his official residence office today. Shri Akbar congratulated and encouraged all the medal winning players. State level competition was organized at Swami Vivekananda Stadium, Kota, Raipur from December 27 to December 29. The team of Eklavya Model Residential School, Taregaon Jungle, District Kabirdham, performed excellently in individual and group competitions of different categories. The residential school got Gold, Bronze in Kabaddi, Gold in Handball, Silver, Gold in Swimming, Silver and Bronze, 02 Gold medals in Archery. Dhal Singh and Devprasad got gold medal in archery in individual competition in team of residential school, Taregaon jungle, Lakesh got gold and Nitesh got bronze medal in swimming, Anuj got gold medal in wrestling. Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar expressed happiness over this achievement of residential school Taregaon Jungle located in remote tribal area.
