The three-day National Tribal Literature Festival organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur will conclude on April 21 at 7 pm. Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey will be the chief guest of this program. The valedictory function will be presided over by the Union Minister of State, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Mrs. Renuka Singh and the Minister of Tribal and Scheduled Castes Development Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam will attend as the special guest. In the concluding program, the Governor will be introduced to the litterateurs and scholars. Participants will share their experiences regarding the festival. Tribal child artist Sahadev Netam will have a singing performance on the concluding day. In the fifth session of reading paper in the National Tribal Literature Festival, on 21st April at 10 am, scholars will read a research paper on Tribal Freedom Fighters: Their Struggle, Role and Contribution in the Indian Freedom Movement. In the literary discussion, measures for the status and protection of tribal literature in the state of Chhattisgarh and Chhattisgarhi tribal literature (story, folklore, poetry reading) will be done by litterateurs. Under the evening cultural program, from 5 pm onwards, the poetic drama ‘Lamjhna’ based on tribal life will be presented and tribal dances will also be presented.
