As per the instructions of the collector Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Meena, the mobile veterinary unit operated under the Livestock Development Department, Durg, is treating the injured and stray sick animals due to road accidents on the spot. Along with this, veterinary camps are also being organized from time to time in different areas. It was told by Deputy Director Veterinary Services Dr. Rajeev Deoras that so far this year 133 accident prone and wandering sick animals were treated on the spot. Through 38 veterinary camps, 2926 animals were treated and medicines were distributed to 5651 animals, along with this, health check-up is also being done by the mobile unit three days a week in urban villages. Durg 9 February 2023 / A workshop was organized for all the withdrawal and disbursement officers of the district for guidelines regarding the implementation of the General Provident Fund (CGPF). In which detailed information was provided about the instructions issued by the government for government servants appointed after November 01, 2004, regarding the option of taking advantage of the old pension scheme or remaining in NPS. Along with this, the doubts presented by the officers/employees present in the workshop were also resolved.
