Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel attended the Bhakta Mata Karma Jayanti festival organized at Surajpur today. While addressing the Jayanti Mahotsav at Mata Karma Chowk in Surajpur, he said that there is power in organization and dedication. Following the path of Bhakta Mata Karma, he called upon to make the social organization more strong, unite the society and work to remove social disparity. Earlier, the Chief Minister prayed for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the state by offering prayers at the devotee Mata Karma temple in Karma Dham. On this occasion, he hoisted the flag of Mata Karma flag. Shri Baghel also announced the approval of 20 lakh rupees for the construction of social building of Sahu Samaj in the program. During the program, Chief Minister Shri Baghel was honored by the Sahu Samaj. Chief Minister Baghel, while addressing the function, extended greetings and best wishes to all the people on Bhakta Mata Karma Jayanti. Referring to the message of Mata Karma, he said that if we have unwavering faith, reverence and dedication in our mind, then there is no such goal which cannot be achieved. Mother Karma had proved that the devotion of the devotee has the power to force the Lord to appear. The Chief Minister said that the State Government has declared a public holiday on Karma Jayanti, but after that due to Corona crisis, the celebrations of Bhakta Mata Karma Jayanti could not be organized for the last two years. Now when the situation becomes normal, public and religious events have started again. The Chief Minister said that Bhakta Mata Karma Jayanti is celebrated in every village of Chhattisgarh with great devotion and enthusiasm. He said that though this function is organized by the Sahu Samaj, but people from all the communities of the village take part in it enthusiastically. There is also a tradition of taking out Kalash Yatra and Shobha Yatra in villages during the Jayanti celebrations in Chhattisgarh. Through this, devotees remember Mata Karma, Lord Krishna and Balabhadra. Khichdi prasad is also distributed as Bhog to Lord Jagannath. The Chief Minister said that there is power in organization and dedication, we have to work for social harmony and brotherhood by connecting the society and removing the bitterness in the society by following the path of devotee Mata Karma.
