In the released results of the competition on Artificial Intelligence organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, the students of Chhattisgarh have been selected in the top 20 projects of the country. It has been prepared by Vaibhav Devangan and Dheeraj Yadav, students of Government Kuldeep Nigam Higher Secondary School, Narra in Mahasamund district of the state. Union Information Technology Minister Ashwani Vaishnav honored these two students of Chhattisgarh with medals and certificates in a function organized at the Indian Habitat Center in New Delhi today. These students displayed their project in the exhibition organized on 29th and 30th November at Indian Habitat Center New Delhi. Both the students were interviewed online by an expert in Artificial Intelligence before the final winners were announced. Union Minister of State for Information Technology Shri Rajiv Chandrashekhar also visited the exhibition. The Secretary, Department and CEO of Digital India, Mr. Abhishek Singh and other officers were present on the occasion. The lecturer of this school, Mr. Subodh Kumar Tiwari, made the students online teaching Artificial Intelligence techniques at the time of lockdown. The students made projects using this technique for the convenience of the farmers of the agrarian state. Farmers son students Vaibhav Devangan and Dheeraj Yadav, living in rural areas, have created software to identify weeds grown between crops using artificial intelligence technology. Competition on Artificial Intelligence at a Glance – A total of 52 thousand 628 students were registered. In the first phase, 11 thousand 466 students took training. 2536 teachers took training from 35 states of the country. 2704 ideas were submitted from 2441 students from all over the country. The result of the first phase was released on 12 January 2021, in which the list of 125 students for the second phase was released. The list of top 60 results was released on the eve of Children’s Day on 13th November, in which two projects of government school Narra in Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh state were selected. After this, in the final phase today, a project of Chhattisgarh was selected in the final top-20. It is noteworthy that the program organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of A.I. In For Youth, this program was run to expose the students of only government schools of the country to the latest Artificial Intelligence technology and find solutions to the problems of the society using Artificial Intelligence (AI). .
