On the fifth foundation day of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the three-day state level Yogasan competition cum conference on April 25 at 11 am at Shaheed Memorial Building in the capital Raipur. Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia will preside over the program and Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey will be the special guest. Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Chhaya Verma, Lok Sabha MP Shri Sunil Soni, Chhattisgarh State Home Construction Board President Shri Kuldeep Juneja, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay, MLAs Shri Satyanarayan Sharma and Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, Mayor Municipal Corporation Raipur Shri Ejaz Dhebar, Chhattisgarh State Gau Service Commission Chairman Rajeshree Mahant Ramsunder Das, Chhattisgarh State Youth Commission Chairman Jitendra Mudaliar, Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Chairman Gyanesh Sharma and Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission members Sarvshree Ravindra Singh, Rajesh Nara and Ganesh Nath Yogi will attend as special guests. In the program, Yogasan competition for boys and girls below 15 years of age will be organized from 2 pm to 6 pm. On 26 April, 1000 yoga seekers will perform Surya Namaskar and special yoga exercises in front of Udyan Kala Bhawan located in Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University campus from 6 am to 7.30 am. Yogasan competition for boys and girls in the age group of 15 to 19 years and above 19 years will be organized from 9 am to 6 pm in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium Science College campus. Similarly, on 27th April, Yogasan competition of participating groups will be held in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium Science College campus from 9 am to 3 pm. Prize distribution and closing ceremony will be done from 5 pm to 6 pm. There are three age groups in the competition, in the female and male category. The participants will participate in the age group of under 15 years, 15 to 19 years and above 19 years. The competition will be held in both singles and group categories.
